Due to our 'arctic weather' lessons have been cancelled until further notice. The high this week is supposed to be around 13 degrees without the wind chill factor. February has always been the coldest month here. So we'll see if it warms up. Thanks everyone, and we hope to see everyone soon. Take care and stay warm. Please contact me at lizkocielniak@aol.com or 989-858-1882 with any questions.

All Indoor Horses were wormed on January 29th. Please be sure to add $10.00 to your board check per horse. Outdoor Horses are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb 5th as long as the Arctic weather stays away. If you have wormer of your own please contact me by Monday. Also, as the coldest month is approaching, please note that indoor horses may stay in on bad days. Extra hay and water are given to prevent stall boredom.
Unfortunately as the price of grain and gas continue to go up, I am the only barn in Gaylord that didn't raise prices. With hay selling at $7.00 a bale itt is a tough market. I am going to be a stickler on late fees. This will make up for some of the extra costs. It will only hurt those who aren't paying on time. As in your contracts, it is $25.00 LATE FEE PER HORSE until all board is caught up. Please be sure to add that to your board if it is not in hand by the 5th of every month. If it arrives late in the mail. I will be sending you an invoice. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
To all indoor boarders:
- If the temperature outside is too cold, or the weather is especially nasty, your horse may stay inside for the day. Daily cleanup will still occur
and they will be provided with extra hay to prevent boredom.
- Heated water buckets, 24 hour lights and additional hay are considered extras and will incur an additional $25.00 fee, per extra, per month .
To all boarders:
- PLEASE remember to clean up after your horse, yourself and your guests. This includes the grooming and tack stalls, the aisles, the arena and the observation room.
Thank you!
