The clean, modern facilities at the Gaylord Equestrian Center provide for the health and safety of your horses. A 64 X 190 foot indoor arena, surfaced with 100 yards of washed beach sand, provides plenty of space to work with your horse in inclement weather or to get them used to the feel of an arena. The large area size make group lessons and clinics possible without crowding.

The 35 box stalls are a roomy 12 X 12 feet and have rubber flooring to level the standing area, absorb shock, reduce moisture and preserve bedding. An 11 foot center aisle prevents crowding and promotes safety for both horses and riders. The center also has two large grooming stalls, a large, heated and secured boarders' tack room and a 12 X 12, heated, indoor washroom for bathing your horse in cold or inclement weather. The 800 sq. ft. observation room includes kitchen and toilet facilities, provides a waiting area during lessons and makes all-day riding, clinics and other gatherings possible and pleasant.

Outdoor boarders enjoy 3 large winter pastures with 12 X 24 wrap around lean-to shelters and in spring/summer/fall, 40 acres are rotated through so fresh grass and alfalfa are always available. Indoor boarders are turned out daily in 5 designated pastures. Fresh water and plenty of hay are provided in all pastures year round.

Exterior facilities include a large, fenced area for secure riding, a 60' round pen and a 12 X 24 foot multi-horse wash rack. Trail riders have access to 300 wooded acres with trails ranging from slightly hilly to off-road trails through the woods.

The Tack Store at the Gaylord Equestrian Center carries new tack by Showman Tack, used tack, grooming supplies and used, new and custom designed show clothing. As a Showman Tack dealer, the owner can order anything you may need regarding the supply and tack needs of your horse.
