About the Instructor

Liz Koscielniak has owned and managed the Gaylord Equestrian Center in beautiful northern lower Michigan since 2001. As a graduate of the Findley University of Ohio, with an Associates of Science degree in Equestrian Studies, Liz has over 14 years practical experience and a lifetime of equestrian knowledge, having been around and riding horses since she was a child.

As a riding instructor, Liz teaches English, Western, Bareback, Showmanship, Trail Riding and Speed to students of all ages and experience, including adults, using your own horse or one of the lesson horses on the premises. Her extensive equestrian background makes it possible for Liz to advise and offer suggestions regarding most areas of equine behavior and health. Her onsite presence makes it possible to supervise the activity of the horses so their owners can leave them knowing that they will be well cared for.
